Visa paperwork. Coursework. Medical.
OK, so last Friday I received what is known as "Packet 3" from the US Embassy in London. This is supposed to contain forms for both the petitioner and beneficiary to fill out. Some of these are to be returned immediately and other kept for the interview, but you need to have them all in-hand to book one. I spent all afternoon and evening of Friday filling out my paperwork, only to miss the post office closing by 10 minutes! It's fair to say that rattled my cage a little, but I posted it all saturday morning and it should have gotten there yesterday (Monday), the same it would if I posted it Friday.
Coursework. Ugh. I've got some physics that I need to print out again and make one additional graph for, which isn't really necessary but rather just to "tick all the boxes". For this I need my coursework back from my teacher, who has been away for eight weeks now and left us stranded, without word back about coursework never mind the coursework itself.
Medical. As I was buzzing around on Friday, part of my fun was going to the doctors to pick up a vaccination record. Once I had this, I phoned Knightbridge doctors in London, who promptly asked for my case number and booked me in for an appointment on Monday 11th May. So me and my dad shall be driving down, either with him driving all the way or I might be able to get some if I convince him to insure me on his car for a week
. Stopping at the London Marylebone Travelodge was £32 per night and only £6 each for an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast, no parking on-site but I have seen up to £35 (!!!!!) per day in the NCP.
Have a Good Day!
