"I'm happy to approve your visa."
AWESOME!
This week has been great. Started off on sunday where I caught a virgin train from Oxenholme Lake District to London Euston which took just over two and a half hours, closer to 3 with delays but still very impressive. Up early monday morning for a quick shower and got myself off to the embassy, taxi was just £7 from opposite Euston station to right outside the embassy, very modest in my opinion.
I wasn't supposed to get in to the embassy until 9am, but the queue went fast and I was in at 8.10am. After an hour, my number got called (I had an I-### number, there were many with N-###s and just a few with E-###s, I presume the letter determined what type of visa) and I went to a window. He asked for my documents, and simple questions, gave me the pink courier form to fill out and told me to go to the cashier window and pay the $131 application fee. I did as intructed and sat back down after filling in the pink form. Around 10am I got called to the second window; the interview. It was a different person, a woman this time, very pleasant and smiley. I had to swear to and sign an oath, then she asked me some more complex questions, like my plans for work and living arrangements, and about my Fiancée's family and a few to verify my identity. Then she said "I'm happy to approve your visa" and with that I had a huge smile on my face, didn't really pay much attention to what else she said and went to pay the courier, for which a line had developed.
I was out of the embassy complete with smile and chest X-rays for greencard at around 10.20am, though it was a little unclear that you were supposed to exit through the same place as entrance. Walked the 2 miles slowly back to the station and managed to run and get the 11.30 train back, opposed to the 5.30 we were reserverved on. There were some "technical problems" on our train as we arrived into Preston, at which we were jumped from train to train but finally got moving half an hour later and got into Oxenholme about 2.40 in the afternoon, still impressive.
And today I got a text from the courier service, saying that my visa should arrive at the times arranged tomorrow. Hoo-rah! I shall keep you updated.

Browno.com gets off to a start!
Hard times are upon me with my visa paperwork starting to come through, exams in a little over 4 weeks for a month then the big move.
I'll expand on this in a little while, but for now I'm working on integrating the cutenews module into the Blog / Reviews section on here.
Laterz!
